Dr. Erin, Miranda and Scott - just a note to tell you how much of a difference you've made in my life. Sounds dramatic, right? But in all honesty, i don't think i realized how much i was suffering until now ... it's gone ... Thank you Dr. Erin, Miranda and Scott you've gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me.
Let me start off by stating the obvious, nobody likes going to the dentist. Heading to a root canal appointment and the scary "Endodontist" just raises the anxiety level a notch or two. Having never experienced the joys of a root canal I'd fallen victim to war stories of others, the pain, discomfort, terror …… I'm not sure what the root canal veterans were talking about? I was squeezed into Dr. Erin's busy schedule, the procedure was explained, freezing a plenty (this helps with the pain apparently), attractive mouth thingy was inserted, a wee bit of drilling and hey presto it was finished. I was back in the office and within a couple of hours I was able to enjoy my lunch.
That was followed by a call the following morning from my dentist, oooops, they overlooked that there was a second root canal that needed attention. They'll call Dr. Erin to see what she can do, it's really close to Christmas and there's no guarantee that I can be seen before the new year.
Never fear, Dr. Erin is here, in a flash she's extended her working day to attend to my second root canal (I'm not proud that I needed two RC's). Back to the freezing, attractive mouth thingy, drilling program and just like that I'm all fixed.
You'll feel at ease when entering the Endodontic practice, the place is spotless, check in was swift and efficient, Dr. Erin and Miranda were delightful, their conversations, which were very amusing, had me at the point of not wanting to miss a word!
Keep up the great work, if I find a fellow petrified "root canal virgin" I will be sending them your way.

I was referred to Dr. McKenzie as an emergency patient. Dr. McKenzie's "chairside" manner was without a doubt a great comfort as my tooth was very infected. Dr. McKenzie described my tooth as being worthy of a spa weekend AND jewelery! The staff's goal was to make it as painless as possible and they did an amazing job. Everything was explained in detail and they were so sympathatic. They also made it clear that I was to call the emergency number on the weekend and they would be available to assist in whatever manner was deemed necessary.
If you must have a root canal, I would give the staff a rating of 10/10+++

I was referred by my Dentist to Dr. McKenzie`s practice for a root canal. He had a problem pinpointing the exact tooth as it felt like all my teeth were the problem because of referred pain. When I first walked into the practice I could not help but notice how clean it was. I only waited a few minutes and was introduced to Dr. McKenzie by Miranda. Dr. McKenzie explained what she was going to do to determine which tooth it was. She had diagnosed the problem tooth quickly and again explained all of my options in which I went with the root canal. I felt very comfortable with Dr. McKenzie and Miranda, they would always let me know what was going on as they did the root canal.
By the time it was all over I felt more like a friend than a patient. When I was leaving, Dr. McKenzie said to call her anytime if I had any problems at all. I would highly recommend Dr. McKenzie to anyone who has root canal or other teeth issues. I also was informed you do not need a referral from a dentist to get an appointment. Thanks again to Dr. McKenzie & Miranda.
